Jack Symes ’16 and Charlie Kemp ’13 entered Kappa Karaoke brimming with confidence despite facing heated competition from over a dozen Greek chapters as well as additional non-Greek student groups involved in the event. That confidence came from the diligent rehearsals the brothers participated in before the contest, and thanks to their hard work the brothers’ rendition of “The Confrontation” from the musical Les Miserables won first place.
Proceeds from the event were donated to both the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation and Doctors Without Borders. Congratulations to Jack and Charlie for their victory and continuing Delta Xi’s strong history of success in philanthropic events at Cal.
